FP Red price hike?

What's with the 1599 price for the red/green now? They were 1399 for forever.....

Is this them seeing the bbx and thinking they can charge that much too?

The Green was at a "special price" at 1399 or whatever, it even said that on their webpage.

Not sure why it went up though.

pay to play exactly. they've convinced me that its just easier to pay for an ets/buschur kit. lost sale due to price hike. I know its only 200, but I was already barely convinced to save the $$ over the 35r for the red. Extra 200, screw it I want big turbo. Oh well

Yeah, I have been saving up for a new turbo too. Now this price hike has taken it out of my hands.

sounds like you don't know what you want (power, set up, use) wise if you're gonna go from not buying an FP red that's 200 more to buying a 35R that's 2k more. GL though!

They were 1200 for a Green at one point. If you got that deal, it was steal compared to now.

fp red + exst manifold + downpipe and you're almost at the same price as a 35r kit

That'd be under $3k. Where are you buying 35r kits?

Well under 3k and the labor isn't as bad with a stock frame.

If you haven't bought an UICP, wastegate, turbo, done anything with your stock manifold and haven't touched the downpipe I myself would do the t3 kit if you have the money on hand.

The nice thing about going bolt on's then stock frame turbo is you can slowly add all the parts.
