I heard/read somewhere that the CMC has been swapped to aluminum for 2013 X. Is there any truth to this? Would someone with a 2013 please pop your hood and take a looksy? I'd really appreciate it, I'm sure others would too.

 

This would be cool...and make upgrading from the plastic one much easier!

 

Cool yes but seriously doubt it.

Same rumor circulated when the 2012 came out and it turned out to be a dud. Plus why would Mitsubishi redesign and manufacture a part just for one year.... unless they plan on recalling but we can only hope that's the case.

 

Mitsu made a lot of subtle changes for 2013, as they do for every model year.

That would be great news. Can we get a Mitsu vendor to order the 13' CMC and get some pics to double confirm. Or at least the new part number.

 

Do you a list of these changes? Are any of them actual improvements?
