Clutch Slip Gone After Oil Change?
Over the past few weeks, I've noticed my clutch begin to slip when accelerating in 4th or 5th gear. RPMs would jump for a second, then drop back down and car would begin accelerating. The issue was reproducible every time.
Brought the car in for an oil change. Now I can't get the clutch to slip under the circumstances described above. Everything seems back to normal. Does this make any sense? Definitely happy not to replace the clutch.
Have a DD Evo X with ~75k miles. Still on the stock clutch.

That's my understanding as well. Just searching for explanations. I can't get the clutch to slip by any means.
Should I count my blessings, or would you think it's worth considering clutch replacement?

I've never even heard of a stock clutch making it that far!
Oil change shouldnt have anything to do with that unless maybe you have a manual boost controller that got turned down? Or possibly they knocked off a vac line or something like that. That would make the car produce less power, and possibly not overpower the clutch.

X's don't have an adjustable pedal/master linkage like the 8/9. Also, that being out of adjustment won't cause a clutch to slip.
OP, as what STM said, check for something not put back together correctly. Vacuum lines off, air intake misassembled, etc.
Clutches don't generally just stop slipping.
