Rear Diff and Transfer Case filling procedure

Just to double check (2014 Evo X GSR)

The best and safest method to fill the transfer case & rear diff (not the YAW side) according to jacks transmission:

-drain old fluid
-fill them both with a quart of LSD gear oil through the drain plug
-drop the car off the jackstands and drive around for abit
-put the car on jackstands and open the fill plug to allow the excess to come out.

Transmission + YAW control is drain and fill.

Correct right?

Found this thread. Hope it’s helpful to you. There’s a picture that should serve as confirmation. Also, from reading that I’ve done as well, when lifting the car, make sure it’s evenly leveled. If not and at an angle, it can make it so that theres not the recommended amount of fluids. Should be a no brained but doesn’t hurt to mention.

Yes, that's correct and the easiest.
