Possible rod knock?
Hey guys I recently purchased an evo x from a good friend with the following mods:
- AEM Intake
- AMS FMIC w/ AMS UICP and LICP
- RRE sideways stealth exhaust with 3" downpipe and test pipe
- FP Red turbo, ported, 25 PSI WA
- Kelford 214-B cams and springs
- FIC 1100 injectors
- DW65 fuel pump
- Cosworth fuel rai
It's really hard to tell in the video (cell phone audio is terrible lol), but it sounds more like the noise the trans makes in neutral with an aftermarket clutch. Have someone push the clutch in when you're listening to it, see if the noise goes away.
