Offical MSRP
"Gotta love the internet tough guys. An "I'm sorry, I mistyped LT1" would have sufficed."
or a simple... LT1 he must have meant 1LT I'll just stfu before I post something stupid would have worked as well.

I just checked Chevy's web site and the base 1LT package is $47K in my neck of the woods.
well whoever says i'm an idiot about 2008 1LT Vette just lost their ***** and any automotive or car enthusiast credit.
1LT isn't the engine morons , they all come with 430hp LS3. 1LT is the trim package, which is the most basic that a vette comes. You can get a 1LT 2008 for $39999 + destination fee ($850), tax, and title.
That is comparable to an MR, only the 430hp vette will literally pwn the face off any evo X it races, even with heavy mods on the evo, all while getting better gas mileage and more looks.
Next time you might want to google info about other cars if your general knowledge is lacking that much. P.S. other trims for the corvette are 2LT and 3LT (includes Nav/etc). That's where they get more costly.
In addition, I'm commenting on what trustworthy sources... i.e. car and driver, road and track, etc have tested this new car as. All the evo fanboys or people who already put down desposits were hoping and praying there would be some magical underrating on the hp or that they'd crank it up to be faster a month or two before delivery and it's not going to happen.
It's a gas guzzling queen and about as fast (or only slightly faster) than a mazda speed 6, which is a $10,000 cheaper car and gets better gas mileage.

Ok, so let me get this straight...the X is due in dealerships in less than a month and there is still no pricing!? Are you kidding me?
After reading all of these posts, I remembered why I stopped visiting all of these threads. I just can't believe that there is still no pricing.
is really fu*king up here.
I might as well state my opinion since everyone has stated theirs. I have absolutely no desire to buy a X. The X might have better overall handling, but its not the hardcore animal that the IX is. Call me crazy, but I bought a nine because I wanted a simple, no frills, awd rocket that sacrificed daily-driveability for most performance for the buck. I really don't think you are getting that with the X...based on what reviews have shown us thus far. Performance numbers can always be improved, but its the subjective on-edge steering and feel of the IX that I know will not be there in the X.
If I had to drop 35g's on a new car, without a doubt it would be the 135i. It is going to have better acceleration than the already mid-low 13 sec. 335i, comes with 6 pot front brakes, 3400 lb curb weight (not good, but way better than the Evo), rear drive, two turbos and an inline 6. I like the styling (not as much as the 3 series, but I still like it) and the interior is going to be twice that of the Evo X. Get a better suspension on it with a Vishnu tune and you've got a 12 sec. Bimmer that'll will should be able to beat an Evo around the track. You are also getting BMW quality and refinement

Did you guys actually believe someone on the internet stating they knew someone who knew someone's dog who was a friend with a person working at MMNA who heard in the bathroom that Mitsu was going to release the price of the EVO X?!?
MMNA will release it when they feel fit...not when someone on the interweb says so

just when everything pointed that Mitsu was ahead of the game with the release of the X, the new STI pricing, options, specs, availability is all accessible now.
STI is already on their site, BAMMO
