I talked to Sam a couple days ago & he's still waiting for their release, but he doesn't know when it'll happen. This sucks, 'cuz I already bought plane tickets & made hotel reservations (in cash) to be down there next monday... hopefully they arrive when I do, or I just wasted a few hundred dollars

Did you confirm this lately, or are you just playing it safe?

Confirmed with dealer yesterday.

I was also told only 1000 MRs will be coming to the states, few will be fully loaded. It appears foreign money (people and dealerships) is trying to claim MRs by the dozens, so we may net even fewer on our streets. Business is business and if a dealershup can bring in 10-20k over MSRP, they will.

If you've looked to see what MRs are selling for in some other countries, you'd appreciate why someone would gladly pay 20k over sticker, shipping, import tax, etc...

Lol, of course they are going to tell you "only 1000! very few loaded!".

Mitsubishi will make and bring in as many as they can sell.

Seems reasonable to me too. Just have to get a second job to afford it

Correct, depending on your definitions of "Make" and "Bring in". Due to current economic conditions, the US market is not in a favorable position at the moment from a procurement vantage point. The demand from other countries, the funds from other countries, and the respective value of the dollar puts us behind the eight ball. Do I beleive that MRs are mostly to be available to us NOT fully loaded, I don't know. Do I think quantities will be limited for the US, I do.

My hopes are that MRs don't flood the market - fortunately, Mitsubishi has a history of not flooding the market with MRs.

My dealer which is a well known high volume dealer is only slotted for 3. Only 1 is loaded and 2 don't come with the full tech packages. 2/3 were preordered with contracts for about 3k over sticker.

When I bought my 06 RS in October of 06. They said (which I never believed), this is the last one we are getting. That's it for us.

A month later they had 5-7 on the floor, and 3 or 4 were RS'. Dealers will make you believe you're getting the only one.. everytime. Its a crock of shiate
