Not likely HQ told me the Cdn ones are being built in July and then it depends on which boat they are put on But I hope you are right I'm getting tired of using my S2000 as a daily driver

Not sure, my sales told me around may 25th that my car was built and it should be here around this time of the month. I hope he is right...

More oil on the fire... just came back from test drive a GSR (waiting for my MR) and the dealer told me end of June for Canada. There is actually a "secret" journalist test drive in Mont-Tremblant this WE and the MRs should be in the dealers in a couple of weeks. He told me the MRs for the estern canada are actually in Toronto waiting for delivery. We will see in a couple of weeks!

So Maggiemae, any MR in TO or just BS from the dealer? I also learned from my salesman that the MR will be modable from the dealer (COI + exhaust + engine management) with + 60 HP to expect (from a meeting with Mitsu Canada last week)... and all this under warranty and within the tranny's tolerence... so it looks promising indeed for the MR and the TC-SST!

That's not true at all. A vast majority of the IX's were MR's. Something like 4k MR's to 2k GSR/RS/SE's.

i dont kno if its under warranty but thats for the some lucky dealers out there. But def the SST tyranny is with intake, exhaust, and engine management can yield 60+ HP hence the FQ 360 SST testing in UK.

I'm just hoping that the SST can yield ~380-400 hp to the crank and not wear the SST tyranny and i will be well satisfied. But 360 hp is d*mn not that bad either

Flooding is not a ratio, it's a measurement of gross supply that's in excess. Based on resale value and demand for IX's, I'll agree to disagree and continue to believe MRs are not built in excess

For example, if car company x built 4 cars, and 3 were 6 speed manuals and 1 was a 5 speed, then the market was not flooded with 6 speeds but 5 speeds sure are rare.

Anyway, looking forward to July 8 and if it's true that dealerships will have mod capabilities... YIPPEE!
