does it bother you guys EVO x owners, when you start seeing all these other lancers that are starting to look more like a EVO x, example lancer gts, the new ralliart.

No...and because they're all related...all the same family.

Nope, they might look like EVO's but in the end they aren't EVO's, and that is all that really matters. If anything you should feel flatterred that someone would want to have a car that resembles yours.

I saw a GTS and thought it was an Evo until I got close enough. I bought my car bases on a GTS test drive before the Evo was available. I really like the new Lancers. So no, it doesn't bother me at all. The new Lancer has great chassis and is a great car.

no, because im still the only person in the triad area(winston, high point, greensboro) of nc who has a lancer, let alone an evo. ive only seen 2 other lancers on the road since the beginning of the year and ive traveled over 6 states. i'm not saying they aren't out there, but there aren't many, so i guess NO i'm not really concerned nor bothered.

Evo 1-6.5 had "same look" as their regular Lancer model trims....just basically different front bumper, hood, rear bumper, and wing along with different drivetrain, technology, suspension, and motor.

Evo 7-9 was the only genre Evo that had a "seperate" exterior design difference to regular Lancers...the only thing that gave it away that they Evo's and Lancers were the "same" was the interior.

So now the Evo X and the new Lancers are out...its basically like when the Evo's 1-6.5. Lancers and Evo's have alot of exterior similarities...but several exterior difference, technology, drivetrain, suspension, and engine seperate the regular Lancers from the Evo's.

Every manufacturer does this if they think a new model has a 'successful' or premium look. I remember about 15 years ago that my dad was pissed when they put ZR1 tail lights on all the regular vettes in 1992 making them all look like his 1991 ZR1. You had to start looking at wheel track or the spacer behind the lic plate to see if it was wider, therefore the special model.

exactly, this is what i mean, and yes I remember because my friend had a ZR1 and he was also pissed that no one could tell his car apart from the regular vette's.

its just not right making the regular cars look like EVO's, i just feel the X owners must be frustrated with the similarities, don't you think?

No fender flares on the ralliart or the regular lancers....also the front bumper completely different as are the aero treatments on the bottom, ..

It would be nice if there was bigger difference in appearance, having a unique car that is not seen everyday is a plus for most. I think the gts and the evo look way to similar.
