Do you have a link to said thread, don't feel like searching through tons of crap (it's not sticked either, it looks like)?

An LS1 fit, which was very dought full at first. So why wouldn't a 4b11 work. I think I would rather see a 4b11 in an Viii or Xi than an LS1 or what ever type of motors are out there.

With enough time and money, any engine can be swapped into any car. With enough time and money, one could also build a garbage truck to carry the front wheels down the track, and turn in time slips with 160mph trap speeds.

you guys need to let it go. the 4g63 has been around long enough and like all things in this world, everything changes. live with it and stop mulling over the 4g63. that's why the car is called EVOLUTION.

Everyone keeps freaking out about whether or not the 4b11t can hold up at higher boost and hp levels. While this is understandable, I'm sure Mitsubishi did their research before making a substantial change to the Evo for the first time ever. So far, so good for the 4b, and I'm sure it will only get better from here.

You've got to accept change...the 4b11t is the future.

but seriously a 4b11 in an 8 or 9 would be a little weird.... as of right now it would be a waste of time

Ok 4g63 Proven, Yes. How Old Is The 4g63??????. What King Of Numbers Is The X Putting Down?? I Own A 04 Evo Mildly Modded And As Far As Im Concerned Its A Animal But The Facts Are The 4b11 Is A Superior Design, Engineringly Speaking. Look At Th Number Its Laying Down With Min Mods. With In Time, A Year Or Two, The 4b11 Will Be Viewed As A Far Supirior Motor. So Its Crazy To Think Of Puting A 4g63 Into An X.............. Crazy

/\/\/\ I agree there.

someone compaired a mid 10s 8/9 with a green to a high 10s X with moded stock turbo.

simply put the 4b11 is taking much better to mods you cant base the timeslips on only the turbo what about supporting mods??? I bet that 8/9 with the green has cams and ems. both of which are not available for the 4b11 yet.

so an x with ems and cams + bolt ons with modded stock turbo should kill the 8/9 with a green and all the goodies. but thats all speculation, time will tell.
