I am still on the fence about getting a evo x mr as my first lacer seeing as I was gonna get a regular 08 lancer with a 2.0 but then it took a little while to pool my funds and they came out with a 2.4 for the regular lancer and now that I have seen the MR that is definatly the one I want but I think I am gonna wait to see if they do something like out a bigger engine (go from 2.0 to 2.4) and also to see of they do something different for 09 just to be safe and if they dont then I guess i can look at the bright side in the fact that I may be able to get a better deal on an 08 MR since they will be trying to make room for the 09s

Rumor is there won't be any 09's that will drop the price, but I think time will still bring it down some more. I'm betting as summer fades and a few months of them sitting on lots will pull the price down. I wonder if the GSRs are already at their rock bottom price though?
I'm lookin at this right now, you think this is a steal? socalmitsu gave me a quote for like $50 less for the same car.

I think that looks like a good deal. You can probably get the price down a little more also. Get a preapproved loan from pentagon financing and walk in ready to buy for 1K less. The loan is also 4.5%!

(Credit for the Pentagon tip goes to the original poster from somewhere else on the forums. Great tip!)

If this is a hint or not, well....

The 09 STI will not have any changes, so .... probably the EVO will not either.

Who knows though. They may release se editions of the evo. I'm hoping they'll release a moon roof like the Japanese spec evos

No way! That is definately NOT a steal or a deal.... There are GSR fully loaded for 33,500 and they are dropping.. I'm hoping for MR's to be at the 35K range in about 5 months... I'd say wait till Nov/Dec and pick up a new GSR (08) fully loaded for around 33K... You'll see..
