After using it for a few days, I like the touch screen radio also. The volume knob on the right side doesn't bother me as much because I use the volume control on the steering wheel 90% of the time. I also think it looks much better than the previous radio.

I bought a 2014 WW GSR with SS package for $35,650 about three weeks ago from Fitzgerald Auto in Annapolis MD.

Plus $199 dealer fee
No destination fee
6% sales tax on the balance, about $1000

Traded in a 2008 Acura TL-S that I owned outright, they gave me essentially KBB private party retail. So I only had to pay sales tax on the balance, then put 3k down, so payments are small.

Edmonds True Market Value with options (SS, stupid chrome mirrors and wind deflectors) invoice was $36,548, MSRP $38,335.
I basically got it for the TMV Invoice minus the $795 destination fee.

It wasn’t a steal, but a good deal, and they gave me a good price on the TL-S. I could have held on to it and sold it privately "maybe", but then would have to deal with tire kicking a-holes and paid full tax rate.

I bought mine a little over 2 weeks ago from the same dealer. I got a WW with SS and SL package for 36.5k before taxes and such. Same thing not a great deal but not terrible either.

I have a question. Do you guys think it's possible to get a good condition X GSR (probably a 08) with less than 30k miles for $24k cash? I have looked around but most seem to be asking at least $26k.

$24k before tax of course.

NO, not from the searches I saw. with those miles you need about 30k. but 011-012 wrx's in that range with all kinds of super low miles. if you wait I bet you can get a 014 wrx on the super cheap here soon.

...and the good condition is only a hope, even if you have it inspected your still guessing.

EVo's and stis are best bought brand new.

A few first time buyer questions

Hey everyone, I just had a few questions about buying a car from a dealership. I have a vague idea of it but just want to get some clarification. First off is financing. So right now I'm 19 and I plan to buy the car on my 20th birthday this year. I started building my credit almost a year ago. I had my parents put me on one of their small loans and that boosted me up when they paid it off Completely. I currently have a credit score of over 700 and fluctuates between 700-750. What kind of interest rates should I be able to get? Should I go straight to a dealer for financing or go to a credit union or other banks to compare rates? I've heard that going to a credit union is bs, so should I even go try at one? Thanks in advance.

Even with that high of a credit score you might be hard pressed on getting a loan by yourself with such little credit history. I've found better rates financing through the dealer itself, but your mileage my vary. What I would do is get pre-approved by a bank or credit union before you even step foot in a dealership, and use that to get you a better in house rate. I did that with my previous car, and walked out with a full percent lower APR (was under 2% for a 4 year old car at the time).

If you wanna boost your score I would recommend 1-2 credit cards. Revolving credit helps your score if you can get a reasonable credit limit.
