Does this affect all 2008-2009s? I called my dealership and gave them the VIN number. They say the only recall they see for this vehicle is the hook cable.

The official recall date is Sept 29th or so; dealers might not know or hear about it until then.

i would like an update from people who took their car in without demodding once the actual recall letters been sent out.

if i take my car in, i dont plan to demod it.

One year and it's been in for hood latch, drivers side seat replacement, clutch replacement and soon to have this recall along with passanger side seat, paint and 3m film. Hell they ought to make one month payment as much as the dealer has had my car. Lol.

Last year there was a recall on the g35x where the passenger air bag might not go off... so no one's immune.

I hope this potential fuel leak/fire isn't too serious of an issue, because I'm not bringing my modded car to the dealer.

Do all of the aftermarket fuel rails replace this component?

I wasn't planning on doing the fuel rail until later, but weighing the cost of a fuel rail (ie, cheap) versus driving to a dealer (1 hour drive for me), de-modding the car, or just letting them see my mods... meh. Looking like a better option is to just do the fuel rail in my case.
