It does not take long to o the recall. But the tech may wait for the car to cool down since one of the brackets for the return line goes right next to the upper radiator hose. Also you may watch your uicp clamps since it will most likely come off to do the recall. If I am not feeling so lazy tomorrow I may post pics of the recall being done since I did mine today.

Hey Maverick, i'm also in Maryland and was just wondering if that Rockville dealership is trustworthy and competent.

I'm going to go in for both my hood latch and fuel line recall and was fearing that they may mess something up.

I've never been to the rockville dealership, but it's like 15 min from my house so I might as well.

P.s. my car is stock except for my air filter so i'm not going to worry about them voiding my warranty

Thanks!

Hey Evolution,

Are you going to South Coast Mitsubishi for the recall fix? If so, please post your experience in regards to warranty, and if they will blacklist you because of your intake and exhaust mods.

I just had the following done at Stohlman in Tysons Corner...

Oil Change + Fuel Recall + AWC ECU Service Bulletin

It was all finished during lunch while I ate across the street (Thai Pilin ). Since you and the OP live in Maryland - you should consider getting the AWC ECU Bulletin at the same time also. Its recommended for Virginia and Maryland vehicles.

I had the hood-latch recall also done at Stohlman on an earlier trip - I've had no problems with them (although I know some people have).

I've also been to Stohlman with no issue's for the hood latch recall. I'll make an appointment for the Fuel line and an oil change. I didn't know there was a Thai place across the street, I love Thai food.
