Just got the Fuel Line Recall Letter and my thoughts
The AWC has it's own ECU, so the reflash wouldn't effect your aftermarket tune.
With that said though, it's always a crap shoot taking your car to the dealership for warranty work with your aftermarket tune still intact. I always unmarry my Cobb AP before taking my Evo in to the dealership.

but they might be able to tell that he has been tuned right?
I think someone already posted this previously in the thread. But just as a heads up, I had the Recall work done on Thurs and as I was driving home and the next day noticed my idle jumping around. I had previously read the thread about the vacuum line popping off ( one by the oil dipstick ), and had zip tied the hose. Friday night I thought I'd check that the hose was still attached. Sure enough it had popped off. I'm not sure if they removed it doing the recall, or it just happen to pop off. Anyway I usually just kind of lurk on message boards, but the inf. people have posted here has already been so helpful, I just thought I'd throw this out there to remember to double check your vacuum hose after getting the recall done.
I went to my dealer and had the fuel line recall done. Now everytime I get into the car I get a strong odor of fuel in the cabin. I didn't see any leaks under the car and my only mods are a 1pc UICP and a K&N drop-in.
yup got mine done today and they(Ball Mitsu San diego) didnt say anything about my mods(hoping they didnt red flag my account) cool bunch of guys though and they also did my hood latch! awesome
I just went in yesterday morning to get my hood latch & fuel return pipe + brackets installed.
Not only did I waste an hour and a half going there because they said they didn't have the parts for it, they told me it would take them 2.5+ hours to do it.
WTF is that all about??!!
Anyone know any good competent mitsu dealerships in the central jersey area?

Global automall mitsubishi in n. plainfield nj is where I went to btw. It was the closest to me so I figure why not.
Just as a heads to anyone in c. jersey..... they'll have you wait for about 3 f***** hours just for an oil change.
Anyone have better experiences elsewhere thats relatively close by?
