The fact that he is taking two spaces doesn't mean that you don't have other available space to park.
You have another 300 more spots to park, it's a parking garage. He is just (as we should be doing too) as natural instinct, defending his car.
Why the parking spaces have to be so stupid close each other?
Let’s kick the architect *****. He is making more money putting 50 parking spaces more to make more profit to his client.
But not, instead go and protest again this idiot parking design,
We like to burn in the stick the one that realize how stupid the design is, and take the law by his own
Remember, sometimes you HAVE TO.
When the city notices that every year there is 100 incidents like this one, they make new laws increasing the minimum distance.

Not always true. I know that many garages here downtown have a specific number of spaces, and they often fill up. Attendants keep track of number of people in and out. When someone (or more than one person) parks in two spaces, they cause people to get screwed. Even here at work in our parking lot. It's common on some days for our parking lot to be completely full. One person taking up two spots, makes him look like a douche. There's a fine line between courtesy and vehicle protection.

Also, notice in the picture how the parking spaces are double lined between spaces? There's a reason for that.
