You are correct, my new 2010 MR-T still had the black one. No one has yet to produce a TSB on the black fuel pump relay though it is a known issue here on the net and Mitsu has reportedly replaced a few motors on warrantee cause of fuel pump relay failure

 

i no that calling the nearby dealer (BOB SMITH MOTORS BILLINGS MONTANA) the customer service was amazing i called and told the parts department what part number i had in my 2003 evolution viii they were able to figure out witch one is the one u DONT want (ie THE BLACK ONE) i went with a green one cause thats what they had in stock till i can get paid again and get a blue witch is the best one from what i assume from reading the posts

my ? if anyone can answer it is whats the diff does it pull more power through the relay or are they just a better more reliable relay all together
