Asc off light upon startup

Before anyone says search, i have. For days and days....I have yet to find a real answer for the problem. People keep saying its because of this and that but My car is completely stock. The ASC OFF light will just pop up randomly upon startups. Like everyone else says, once i shut the car off then turn it back on, it goes away. The car runs completely fine i would really just like to know what is causing this. I even read the entire ASC info sticky but knowone had a definitive answer because mostly everyone was not stock. If i missed something please point me in the right direction.

Since your car is completely stock, have the dealer look at it.

So, let's say you start the car, and the asc off light comes on, and you drive for an hour. What happens to the light? What if the light is on and you press the asc off button?

the light will stay on until i turn the car off and on again. the button wont turn the ASC on again..its just stuck off til the car is turned off.

Cold starts only, or just completely random with no rhyme or reason?

Ok there are like 3 mitsu dealers within 30miles of Rockledge, according to google anyway, coastal mitsu is just a quick trip down 95.

Take it to the dealer... the fact that nobody seems to know what it is and you have to ask dosen't seem to put it in the realm of "something you can fix"

get a satuday apointment EARLY go in be the first one and be done with most of your satuday left.
