New Evo X smells like a tire fire
I have a 2010 GSR with 15k miles and I only smell it when I'm going from a dead stop to first gear going up a hill. San Francisco hills suck. Most likely my clutch burning all to hell... And no I don't rev it hard when I step on the gas either.
2008 MR with 22,000 Miles still have the burning smell.
Took it in to the dealer about 2 months ago, they thought my transmission was slipping, so they replaced it.
Jump ahead 1 month and 4 trips back in to the dealer to replace the steering wheel that they scratched up replacing the steering angle sensor (apparently it has to be replaced when you replace the transmission) and the clock spring, they jacked that up too, an alignment, they messed that up as well. oh and also to remove a 6 inch scratch on the door.
It still smells.
