Unknown Vibration during idle

Hey guys, so this morning is when it started. Im getting a very deep vibration and a very low clanking sound from what seems like is coming from the firewall in the engine bay. Im not sure of its location because the vibration is so deep that the whole care vibrates. The noise seems to be coming from the area under the wipers in the engine bay but im not sure. It only happens when it idles between 700-1000rpm. If i hold the throttle at around 1k you can def feel it through the car and i feel it in the clutch pedal when i roll in first from a stop. It stops after clearing the 1k rpm range and doesnt happen everytime. I thought maybe a motor mount or something but im not sure. Car is running great 24k miles not cel lights stock clutch mod list in my sig. Any ideas fellas?

Yea I'd check the motor mounts and tranny mounts and make sure none of them are cracked or anything along those lines

Check the 2 bolts on the strut bar. They connect right under the windshield wipers.

Have you changed anything recently?, I can't see your sig for mods.
I had a similar issue coming from my exhaust rubbing on a driveshaft heat-shield bolt.

In my case, it was an exhaust hanger.

Ya i do have an ets test pipe back. I havent changed anything on the car in weeks and it just started today. I had my buddy hold the throttle at 1500rpm and u can hear the rattle but cant pin point it. I poped the hood to see if i could hear but its tough with my exhaust. It sounds like its coming from the tranny side(drivers) in the engine bay. Low to the ground. Im gonna get it up on a lift and check everything. Im just confused as to what it would be all the sudden. I havent hit it wot or anything.

Alright guys. Got the car up on a lift saturday to change the oil. Hit all the inspection points, motor mounts, tranny mounts, ect. Everything was fine although there were quite a few rocks under my car on trays and arms and what not. One rock in particular caught my eye. It was a golf ball sized rock jammed in between the underside of my tranny and the crossmember. I forced it out and tried the car. No vibration. I am completely amazed that a rock could make the connection between the transmisson and the frame of the car and cuz that much vibration and noise but hey whatever. Oil is fresh and my mind is at ease again. Thanx everyone for the ideas.!
