As much as the hood and trunk combined. I would've gotten one if I didn't have a sunroof.

It may be the crappy phone pics though. Either way I am happy so far and cant wait to see it all installed. I literally dont think I can wait I may go ahead and install the hood and trunk this weekend. The Wife wants me to wait and let the "professionals" do it... meh, we'll see... I'll post pics when it comes back from the shop.

Sad but true. $1350 + $250 shipping and handling! and that does not include labor for installing. I drooled first time saw it on the interwebs and thought I'd never have one, then, BAM, baseball size hail decided for me. Musta been destiny
Now Im going to be the poser with all show and no go. Havent even bought rims yet. now im going to have to atleast paint the factory rims lol.

That sucks. What's taking so long? Mine goes in the shop next Monday I'm getting nervous and anxious. I have no estimated time of completion yet. Did they tell you how long it would be?

They estimated 21 days. The problem is the shop took on more than they can handle. I brought my car in and there were hardly any cars there. Now, you can't even find a place to park. Be nice if they worked on the cars that came in first. Oh well, I'll patiently wait, sort of.

**Edit**

Strange thing, they just called me. Looks like paint is done and it is now ready for buff. The owner is out for the week and he isntructed the guys there that my car will not be delivered untill he gets back. He wants to check it over first. Reason he is being so thurough is that I stopped by a few weeks ago to see my car parts shoved int he back of my car with nothing covering the seats. I was pissed and he sure knew it. So now he wants to make sure everything is perfect. According the person who called me my car should be ready next week but I aint holdin' my breath.

Like I said, not holding my breath.

It's mainly my fault. I'm having them do some extra work. I was thinking, time for a change from the chrome trim look, so I'm having them matte black all the chrome trim. They removed the front emblem and it looks pretty damn good. I'd poost a pic but I'm sure I'd get clowned for how dusty the car looks. Hey, it's their shop.

Did you post a pic? Mine has been in a week now. I just delivered the roof to them yesterday to see little to no progress they are waiting for supplemental checks then goes in for pdr next week then they start all the conventional repairs. Told them to go ahead and clear coat everything. The shop Im using works for both the nearby Subaru and Mitsu dealerships. The guys that are working on my car are a father and son team that does all the STIs and Evos that come thru the shop. They are fellow enthusiast too, although they own STIs. I wont hold that against them They were excited when i dropped off the roof like it was their own lol, the immediately took it in to the shop and started unwrapping like it was Xmas. I left my phone in my truck and forgot to take pics. Will post pic when they are finished.
I put the hood on myself before taking it to the shop. There were no holes for the heat shields, insulation, and weather stripping. Had to drill all myself and I could not get the clips that hold the weather stripping out, so had to use 3m double sided automotive tape. After all that work, I put the hood on to discover sh!tty fitment. Passenger side near windshield is not flush, i see no way to make it fit. Still need to call and b!tch. I should have test fitted first! Was not thinking

I hear ya dude. My hood fit great but the trunk lid, eh. Doesn't sit flush on the left side, needs a little adjustment. No sweat. I'm thinking about doing something stupid anyways. Got my eye on an RS6 with StaSIS performance package.

Still need to secure the top of the bumper, little gap.

Nice to see your Evo get fixed! Just curious, How did they fix the dents on all other panels ? Did they fill it and repainted or paintless dent removal ?
