This. The reason the CAI gets more hp is in the name itself.... COLD air intake. The air where the filter sits on a SRI is hotter then where it sits with the CAI, regardless of heat shields.

I have the AMS CAI and love it. Even when my oem under panel ripped off from the snow, i drove 3000kms or so without a underpanel with snow and sand on the road and had no issues.
