if anyone could help locate the part # for this, i've been unable to find it on the parts diagrams, i'd be interested in just the circuit board but if it comes with the plastic as well that's fine

Is there a part # anywhere on the board? I have a feeling you may not be able to buy that as a separate piece. Most likely also a dealer part

 

Bingo! Same noise on my board too! And it's driving me insane as well.

 

on the circuit board it's made by Visteon - model # could be 38517-502-44

nothing obviously wrong but i may need to look at it with a microscope, theres some small lights, then the capacitors which could seemingly be the cause of the ringing. as suggested this part may not be available online. I'll stop by the dealership tomorrow to see if they could order this part and how much it would be.

 

did u replace ur tires recently? if so it could be ur tires...

 

you won't be able to find just the circuit board; you'd have to buy the whole assembly.

thanks for the find, much appreciated. i actually found an easy workaround, i put some dynamat on part of the circuit board covering the noise source, can't hear a thing now, now i can actually enjoy my car again!

^this. I've had this same noise..always just thought it was the fuel pump so I ignored it, because..well race car. Has my passengers annoyed though lol.

 

i wouldn't use anything to snuff out electrical noises...i doubt it generates a lot of heat, but never underestimate the chance of it going up in flames.
