Damn, Thanks for explaining the 3 port in a simple matter. This is exactly what i plan on doing then getting a tune. Then that's it.

i stopped at this post because it's the simplest. pick a tuner you trust and ask their advice. chances are they have seen LOTS of setups and know what works and what is a waste of money.
further more, they will all have different opinions on what you should do and all of them are right. there is more than one way to skin a cat, just pick one.
if you have an idea of how you want your car to drive, that will help greatly.
above all, resist the urge to follow "popular forum advice" above your tuner. there are lots of rumors, fads, and common ideas floating around that gain popularity and become considered "true" even when they aren't. you will hear 1000 opinions from 500 people and that's an expensive trap to fall into LOL.

Agreed. Forums are the wrong place to get quality advice. Out of 100 opinions, may 10 are valuable and the rest are just... distractions.

There is a ton of good info here and on the other forum if you search. People not searching and making threads like these clog up the place with all kinds of stuff that has been covered 1000+ times. I guess these threads keep forums alive and it's cool people don't bash new members but damn, they could have answered their own question within a few minutes if they took the time to look around.

Telling good from bad is the hard part.

And I can say the search button doesn't always get you what you want. Usually, but not always.

I don't mind seeing new peeps starting a new thread to get involved. It doesn't seem to happen too often, anyway.
