Alcantara steering wheel cover

I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this.

Previous owner left a bunch of what appeared to be adhesive on the wheel and it would get sticky on a hot days. So instead of a cheesy cover, I ordered a alcantara wrap and stitched it myself. My first time ever doing anything like this and I M pleased with the results. It's not perfect, but it's loads better. It came as a kit with thread, cutters, and two sided tape to hold it in place.

Not at all. Kit came with some very thin two sided tape. Can't feel the tape under the cover and it doesn't move at all

That was a really good idea! Steering wheel leather never seems to last and is such an eyesore to me in some cars. I think I'm going to do this.

I bought the same thing as you but for an 8. Got white stitching for the wheel, ebrake, and shift boot. I've been reluctant to stitch it myself but it appears they have a video on how to do it.

Looks like you did a good job though

Looks good man!!.. check out Redlinegoods.com as well...especially if getting multiple wraps/boots... they have savings that add up with more purchased.... I have all their stuff and the quality is absolutely top notch!

It's not too bad, tucking everything once it's stitched is the worst part.

You weren't kidding about the tucking in part being difficult. I did mine earlier and some parts have bigger gaps than others where the stitches meet but that's probably user error.
