I personally like this car, it may look old by the time it eventually gets state side, who knows.
The Dash I am not feeling at all, but the recaros I am feeling alot, It just seems weird looking at the futuristic look of the seats and then in the same picture you see an existing door catch on the B pillar.

The wheels are ok, they do compliment the look of the car quite well, but I am sure it would look a whole lot better with some Sport rims like O.Z. , Enkeis or BBS especially the multi spokes like the BBS MR rims. Only time will tell when the WRC version is released.
But so far it seems to be a step in the right direction, Don't know if I could afford the $45,000 sticker price when it comes out though.

Criminy! I still can't believe some people think its ugly. To each his/her own, but I remember when the VII came out; evo owners where up in arms! That's the most horrible and ugly thing they said!! A LOT of people hated it. I thought the same thing initially. Human beings instintictively resist change; with everything. This concept is no different. That's why you see people wanting BBS, OZ, etc. wheels Guess what, it will probably have Brembo brakes (unfortunately not the massive stoppers on the concept!); it will have whatever wheels it comes with (which will probably be made by BBS or Enkei or some other manufacturer). I hope they stick with the ones on the concept; and if not, you buy the wheels you like!

Rally-bred styling?? Who's to say what is "rally-bred"?? When I think of "rally-bred", I immediately think of the old Audi Quattros; the Lancia Integrale (my favorite); and the Evo 4,5,6. But that's just me. I personally think that the evo 7, 8, 9 DOES NOT have any rally-bred styling. You think it does because you've seen the WRC car; but for no other reason. Wait to you all see the WRC car based on this concept; then it will be "rally-bred" Besides, its just a marketing term.

Thumbs up

The concept X pics. looks pretty cool. If the X looks like that, I would buy one.

By the time it gets here I'll be in my GT-500 so who cares but overall it looks ok. I just dont like the whole sharing platforms and crap with Dodge. I got the Evo cause of the WRC heritage and this Mitsu/Dodge wont have that. The sad thing is this is the show car the street verson will have smaller tires and probably will look less aggressive. The wing is probably fiberglass and will bounce like the STIs so that will look like crap on the highway.

One thing I will concede is that the interior does not match the exterior of the car. The interior screams, modern rally car, while the exterior looks more down to earth. I think the EVO should scream rally car, as it’s meant to be a street legal rally car.

It should be the kind of car that looks like the only thing it would need to look at home in the WRC is some big numbers on the sides and some sponsor stickers.

The exterior needs to move close to where the interior is.

I am not a big fan of the smashed and squinted headlights, but I am straight digging the rest of the car.

Don't fret regarding the interior. It is a concept, and they always look like a spaceship on the interior.

crap! I'd buy a STI before that thing if they build it DSM again. I liked the EVO because of it's heritage and it's exclusive build... don't want a SRT4 platform sharing DSM. (The EVO is just an EVO to me. I don't claim it to be a mitsubishi)

Aluminum unibody, aluminum w/iron sleeved block, carbon fenders, trunk, hood, thinner glass, etc. I'd even pay more for it. It can be done! Some people autoxing at the national level have their cars in the 2850 range from what I'm reading...

Depending on how well the final EVO X comes out will decide the outcome between EVO X and new R35 GT-R. I am really leaning towards the GT-R right now.
