omg. this is getting WAY out of hand.

PLEASE READ AND COMPREHEND THE FOLLOWING!

these "spy shots" are of some next generation lancer undergoing some performance test. the body, its apperance, interior and exterior MEAN NOTHING. the rims MEAN NOTHING. the bottomed out shocks MEAN NOTHING. the taillights MEAN NOTHING. the fenders MEAN NOTHING. the headlights MEAN NOTHING. the dude on the cellphone in the car, HE DOESN'T MATTER. in fact, these pictures, and the article for that matter MEANS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! the original post might have well just read as follows...

"mitsubishi is currently running test for their next generation of lancers." end of story. everything else is pure speculation.

yea i read about the Super Laser Beam Shooter, aka SLBS, in a magazine a while back. This system automatically locks onto competitor's tires and shoots it out with a push of a button. This is going to make road racing more competitive. There is also a manual override if you feel ambitious or you feel that you need to shoot more than the tire. Cant wait to see that in action

I'm sorry but I'm having a hard time believing that that car is the EVO X.

I'm pretty sure I've just momentarily lost 50 points of IQ just from reading half of these posts. Well, on the bright side it looks like i can read. Not like half of the people who posted complete crap b/c all they did was look at the pictures and actually thought the X was going to look like that.

Now i must step away from this post to regain those lost points.

Evo X Prototype Test-Platform Shots!

http://www.thecarconnection.com/inde...8&article=8890

TCC's spies have caught Mitsubishi engineers testing a mule for the next-generation Lancer - the car that will spawn the eagerly anticipated EVO X. The bulging front fenders on this prototype give away the fact that this seemingly ordinary Lancer has been heavily reworked to squeeze a new platform beneath its skin.

So far the only thing I can tell for sure is that if you goto fill up your Evo X, you'll be putting in the gas nozzle in a little higher and to the left than on your Evo VII-IX

Technically the first real Evo X posted

oh god please no!!! granted they claim it's only a test mule, but that looks like garbage and doesn't even look all that different from the VII-IX chassis........not impressed.
