That Evo X pic looks a lot like a Mercury Cougar......

That's a bad thing.

Then again, the Evo 9 was supposed to look like a Pontiac Sunfire , but it diesn't....

Maybe there's hope.

Definitely looks like a cougar. If the designers at Mitsu lack originality, couldn't they at least copy a car that doesn't look like dump?

That black car is tight. They'll water the style down...I hope. It's somewhat concerning that the STi pic is along the same lines as the X. They look fairly similar, which is somewhat concerning since these two are mortal enemies. There may actually be something to this.

 

By looking at the pics at different sites, the evo X looks sorta like a f'ed over SRT-4. Thats sad.

 

Um, this is like looking at a sonogram of a baby still in the womb, and then comparing IT to pictures of a child yet to be fully conceived. I worked at Nissan and watched the new Z being "born" - it was an entirely different car than what finally arrived in the fall of 02.

The Evo X will NOT look like anything posted.

If I may be permitted one more analogy - you guys are arguing about who is going to win the superbowl in 2010.

Everyone who owns an VIII is going to **** and moan on the board about the look of the X. When it comes out, you will be drooling over it. Perfomance will be better than VIII or IX. That's all that matters.

 

I'd buy that.......
