I wouldn't buy the X if it had paddles. The other cars that have the paddles now aren't that great. A friend rode in a car ( don't know exactly what car ) and it had paddles. He said the car felt like an automatic because the shift response was so slow. I think the evo's response with paddles would feel like crap. Yes, if it had a 6 speed sequential gearbox. That would be sweet.

Not to mention heavier with all of the hydraulic servos involved.

If it was a real clutch with paddles it might be one of the few things that would get me out of my 8. I can't see it happening though.

I think you guys just want AYC because you can't have it.

How about a rally style steering wheel clutch?

Lets just say that it took ferrari a couple of cars to get the paddle shift down. Seeing as how Mitsu isn't as exotic as ferrari I would never want a paddle shift on an EVO, it would suck. Plust look at how much the paddle option is on the Ferrari, then you might think twice

if it's a real manual tranny driven by hydraulics, then hell ya! bring it on..

if its a slush box with paddle shifters, forget it. Not interested.
