If they put these on, may as well mush out the suspension, give it all wheel steering, full leather interior, dubs, sun roof, big stereo, body cladding....
Oh wait, they already brought that out. It was called the 3000 GT.
You'd think they'd have learned their lesson.
the black one with big fog lamps is ok. Fender Kits come off of the HKS R34. Function overstyle, i used to think the WRX is nasty, now its not so bad. Its just a concept at this point and the black one is by some unknown artist so yea... i like that analogy. "you guys are predicting the winner of the superbowl in 2010" haha
I just drove a Toyota MR2 yesterday with paddle shifting. It is actually pretty cool. The car doesn't go anywhere until you give it gas. It is like it as a manual transmission with an automatic clutch.. i mean it feels more like a clutch than an automatic. When you go to upshift with the paddles, it feels 10x better than those stupid sportronic trannys like in the hyundai's, cadillac's, etc.. But there is still a little delay with the paddle shifting. If they could just work on it so it shifts into gear about 1/2 as fast that would be cool. I think they should put paddle shifting in the new evo, because there are some people I know that love to drive a stick, but have bad hips/legs and are unable to use a clutch. (mostly older people). But then again, I will probably never go back to an auto tranny unless I am forced to. I love the manual trans.

manual transmission is the best thing that happened to cars. leave paddle shifting to the professional race cars. There is nothing better than to have full control of your car than with traditional gate shifting. Manumatic and sport-tronic are teH gheyest things ive ever experienced, its just like shifting gears in an auto (D1, D2, D3, and D). Now the whole SMG that bmw uses and the F1 paddle shifting that Ferrari uses are true manual-paddle shifting using hydrolics to change gears....so u dont have that annoying gradual spike in an automatic when the gears switch up one. The EVO is a driver's car, and driver's more often than not will go with a traditional gate shifting gear box. I just think that paddle-shifting would be a waste of time and money. Elder folks wouldnt buy an Evo anyway, they would spend their money on something more expensive and sophisticated like an M3 or any Beemer or a Benz of some sort, anything of that caliber. I hope mitsu doesnt ruin a great car with that paddle-shift nonsence, or even worse yet, an automatic with sport-tronic.
i have been saying this from the begining. one of my friends that works at MMNA told me the evo was going towards a hatch back to be more competetive in the WRC.. the evo ten pics you have been seing is to through off competion but it seems the word is out and subaru is going to do the same thing. here is the link

Man, I am in the minority here
I guess its the cronic left foot braker in me that would love to have a BMW type real smg tranny. With my size 14 boats hunting around for that rev match downshift is a B****. Give me perfect downshifts with a tug of a paddle anyday.
