Downshifts during hard driving are perfectly rev-matched for you as long as you don't lift the throttle, so no engine braking and unbalancing of the car through turns.

Also, we can shift the car as hard as we want and Mitsu will have to foot the bill if the tranny/clutch fails because it's their system controlling it. BMW replaced my driveshaft which cracked from hard 8000 rpm SMG shifts, no questions asked. It wasn't my fault, the tranny computer did it to it.

I can see the warranty issue being a valid point. I'm sure that Mitsu is thinking it will save them $$$ on replacement as the computer is less prone to mistakes if the system is well sorted.

Only thing is I get lazy and forget to shift if there is no clutch. So in normal driving I just waste lots of gas I guess I could get use to it Oh well here's to Evolution

I think it looks very promising. All except the damn dual exhaust. If the car is screaming "function," then adding the weight of a congested dual exhaust for the sake of looks is completely lame.

If the dual exhaust is the only thing then I think did a great job.

It doesn't look heavy to me. It actually looks pretty light with the racing seats and simple interior. I would love to see this car at 3000 lbs or less.

The rear seats remind me of the RX8... They look fantastic

I understand its a concept.....

I dont care for the rear lights but I'm sure the aftermarket would release a fix for that.

I cannot decide if I like it or not. When I first saw the eight I fell in love immediately but this time I am undecided. It might have to grow on me.

If the motor has mega ***** and room to enhance that....then I may be more interested.

Yeah the rear end and rear 3/4 view look like an Acura Integra or RSX or whatever it is.
