Yup...for some reasons...this picture looks better than the other one floating with the white-colored EVO X. And 2.5 inches to the tires is a big deal...wow to dat....

However....however....did anyone notice that this prototype looks somewhat like a five door version of Ford Focus SVT.

That look is definitely starting to grow on me. But like many have said before, Evo without wing is just not evo-like at all.

I know speculation and conversation is fun, but sometimes some of you guys get so carried away over nothing.

Mitsubishi was so intent on not showing the Evo VIII front end, they insisted on using Evo VII's, with body kits I understand, but VII's nonetheless. Not VII's modified to look like VIII's, not early prototype VIII's. They did not want the world to see the car until they were ready. Remember how cagey they were with the final specs before we got the car? I've never seen a press emargo on Dealerlink for any car or such care taken in not releasing specs until the last minute. What I'm getting at, is it is just too early to decide what the final car will be like, look like or have because they are going to so much trouble to not let us see it. Maybe even allowing some misinformation to come out to throw the competition off. That could be a picture of the RS which comes without a spoiler. Start telling RS owners that they aren't really driving Evos and see what happens. That could be a picture of a regular Lancer design study or nothing at all.

 

The EVO is going Gay on us. SUBARU here we come...........

 

oh dear god, please don't let the front end REALLY look like that when the X comes out!!! I really really don't like it. It's fugly.

 

The styling of the Evo X is really starting to grow on me. It looks really different and very aggressive. The only thing I can see wrong with it is that it's MISING THE FRIGGIN WING! An Evo is an Evo without the big wing.

I actually think that the aggressive look on the Evo X is Mitsu going back to the aggressiveness of the Evo 4, 5 and 6 which was lost since the Evo 7.

It use to look fugly to me, but it might actually look good in the flesh....Still, we don't buy the EVO for looks anyway.
