There has been so many of these threads I've stopped paying attention to them. That said I haven't seen those pictures yet. It looks good. Looks like my VIII will be going bye bye when these hit.

Does anyone else notice the Volvo S40 similarities...

I would have to drive it and see it in person....but from the looks of it, not very impressed. Seems like it takes away from the "mod to make it your own" attitude.

Just my .02!

It's going to be the same thing as with the Evo 7. People *****ed about how the Evo 8 looked and how they liked the Evo 7 soooooo much better. Go back and look at the old Evo threads from late 2002, early 2003.

I think that once this Evo is for sale, people will fall in love with it. Some people are just afraid of change and that there could be a chance that something is better than theirs out there.

I for one have an Evo 8, and I'm more than likely going to be getting this one.

if you see the car in person, its really something else. i didn't like it at first either, but when seeing it, i really liked it. however i don't really like having the turbo placed behind the motor. remindes me of my gti

looks like they ditched the fender flares like they originally had on the concept and returned to a widebody style on the front fenders and rear quarter panels. And i was really diggin' the flares too!

Wow, that car looks amazing! The body, wheels, brakes, and interior looks great! Interesting though, the interior picture shows a shifter with a reverse lockout ring, but its an automatic...

I can't really tell from the pic, but if they did actually change the turbo placement to the rear of the motor, I think that is a big mistake. They have had so much success with the 4G63, I don't know why they would change the motor so much. I can understand a full revamp of the engine, but not to the extent of flipping the intake/exhaust manifolds.
