Prosport boost gauge install...help!!!
Maybe one of you gurus can figure this out.
I have a Prosport electronic boost gauge (amber/white) I'm trying to install on an Evo X GSR. I'm pretty sure I have the "tee" fitting and sensor installed correctly.
I have it wired like this:
Black - ground
Red - power door lock fuse (constant 12v power)
White - hazard lights fuse (I tried it in the cig lighter fuse also)
orange - not used
Here's the problem, when it starts up it goes through the opening ceremony but I believe it does it twice. It runs the needle all the way up then back down two times then shows the boost maxed out and flashes back-and-forth between red and white with a constant BEEP, BEEP, BEEP.
I've searched everywhere trying to find out what is causing this, but no luck. I'm at the end of my rope. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't think it matters since these gauges use a stepping motor. It could be that the power was disconnected before the gauge was at 0. If you have a spare battery you could easily give it a bench test.
