Does the o2 housing heat shield come off before the downpipe? Or does it come out with the downpipe?

Pics not working for me either

It seems like the heat shield has to come out prior so you can get at the rest of the O2 housing bolts. Haven't done it yet myself, but will be attempting this weekend if its nice.

I hope the shield doesn't have to come off.
I cant get the bottom bolts loose for the shield.
Any input from the guys who got this done?

you need an assortment of swivel heads

and open ended wrenches or these would help alot more

also the shield should come off before taking the oem downpipe off..or eles you cant get to the underside bolt, its very hard and frustrating so make sure you and your friend have planned ALOT of time

I used witchcraft today and got all the bolts off without taking the o2 shields off. I ran down the street doing double fist pumps and screaming. If anyone needs tips pm me.
