help there is a light that comes on when driving

hi i have an evo x fq 300 and when been driven for about 10 min there is a sign comed up on my display its a picture of a drive train basically four wheels and a differesial joining them all but the front wheels are asif they are turning to the left and my user manual is in japanese and im gettin worried please help many thanks ben

You should take it in to have the ECU code pulled. It could be something simple like a wheel speed sensor not reading correctly, but the dummy light for the traction control system isn't specific enough to say...

It sounds like the battery in your car was disconnected and reconnected while the front wheels were not straight ahead.
Set the front wheels exactly straight.
Disconnect and reconnect the battery.
The electrics assume the wheels are straight when the battery is connected. if they are not, the system does not work properly.

thank you i will try that and let you no if theres any joy and douse any one no where the diognostics socket is on the evo X thanks ben

Driver's side foot well. It points straight down. I think the fuse box is right in front of it.
