Aftermarket pedals?

I'd like to get an aluminum dead pedal, but if I do that, I'd like to get a matching set with all of the other pedals. Looking around, I see this: http://www.lancershop.com/customer/p...cat=213&page=1

I haven't found too many other options, and I've found even less installation posts/opinions. Are there other options I should be looking at? Any opinions on the above pedals? What would it take to install them? I'd like to replace my current pedals, not cover them with new ones.

Let me know if I missed any obvious threads. Thanks!

I just ordered a set from here.

I ordered them anodized, so I won't get them for a few weeks. I will post about them once I get them (hopefully).

I'm curious why would you want to replace the stock pedals? The stock pedals on the EVO X look great and better than most cars. Just wondering no hate here, but I would probably just do the dead pedal to match the stock ones.

I agree that they look great. My issue with the clutch pedal is when my footwear is wet, my foot sometimes slips off the clutch pedal when I shift gears. The other reason is I want to learn how to heel-and-toe, and with the stock pedals, they feel like they're too far apart for a n00b like myself to do properly.

Those are my reasons... as silly as they may be.

You guys brought up all of my reasons too. I live in the Pacific Northwest, so it rains here basically all the time. Rubber on rubber when wet, not a good thing. So, I'd like some new pedals that don't have a rubber coating. I'd also like replacements, not covers.

I can't believe that more people aren't upgrading their pedals. The stock ones are really starting to bug me

I installed mine last week. The install is the same as this one.

It hasn't rained yet, but the pedals already feel grippier than the oem pedals.
