As explained previously, Topspeed kept quick-staging me, and it was a pro tree, so I decided to just ignore the lights in order to ensure a good launch. Had it been a competition run and not a qualifying run, I would have double-staged him immediately so that he couldn't do it to me 3 times in a row. Since it was only a qualifying run, I was still trying to be courteous, which is why I only pre-staged while waiting on him. Once he double-staged me again after his burnout, I just ignored the lights, waited a half-second, and then did my normal launch. Considering I only ran .4s slower with 25 less mph, I'd say my driving wasn't too bad...

Huh? We lined up during both qualifying runs, but that's all (2, not 3). If you consider a fully built race car beating a daily-driven, stock-turbo'd, stock cammed car by .4-sec to be an "**** hander," then perhaps you could use a bit more education? If you're going to instigate, at least have a shred of legitimacy...

Believe me, the "driver" had nothing to do with me "losing" (yeah, kinda tough to "lose" while qualifying." I would like to think I could run at least a 12.0 if I was trapping over 120, since I already hit 12.1 at 110. Wouldn't you agree?

I drive and own a 2005 evo GSR with SSL. i'm 21 years old and i go to school full time for criminal justice. My car has around 10k in mods on it. it has 14k on it because i drive it every day. i have alot of credit card debt but i also paid for alot of the parts cash. I pay 585.29$ a month and i put 6k down. my car was 36k after tax and i got the best possible rate at the time. I also work full time at No Limit as a salesman.
