yeah, sorry, we tend to read into things too much, especially when they dont make sense.

Side noteto answer question: i highly doubt mitsu will offer a "limited" supply due to the condition the company is in, im sure theyll sell anything as long as they make some type of profit

Listen... young ppl dont deserve fast cars. I admit i have a ralliart and im 19. Technically its on the maturity lvl, young kids are reckless ( heck im reckless sumtimes to). Its just that an evo is such a beautiful car and powerful too that ppl just dont kno how to treat it and will end up crashing it.

Im 19 and hopefully im gettin an Evo soon, but to tell u all the truth there are a few young kids out there that have responsibility OK. These cars are not for 21+ or even mid 20's. I understand that there is good advice but not all teenagers are reckless and SCREW you we want a car we luv ( who cares if mommy and daddy is buying it, though its just all on the kid - its his thinking, how he treats the car, and etc.)

I luv the Evo and would kill to have it. I admit though some ppl dont deserve it. Though thats how it is, not everyone who buys the Evo will treat it right. There are always a percentage of things going wrong in the world( Doesnt matter what age, there are older people out there who dont kno how to treat an evo, i also understand that the majority of the percentage of ppl who dont treat an evo right is very young). I just cant stand the fact that ppl are sayin "YOUNG KIDS should not drive this car period", there are a few kids out there that deserve it and yes it hard to justify who deserves it, but thats LIFE.

Geez, I guess I should have driven go-carts for 5 years before I got my license, spent the next five on a low powered front driver, the next five on a low powered rear driver, the next five on a low powered awd, the next fixe on a wrx, and THEN bought an evo, it being so tricky to drive and all; lol.

I'm 26 and I say if your parents are willing, then go for it! It doesn't sound like you're tight on cash. But if I were you, I'd just keep the money and invest it, cause of my situation i'd love to use that money to make money. I think some people are against you because they are jealous and couldn't have bought something like that at their age. But you're a lucky one!

Now, for driving a evo, it's a special car but it's STILL just a car! But damn if you can afford it, drive it like you stole it!!! ) I'd love to steal it from you...

you are right, we are jealous of him because his parents have money my parents had enough money when i was 16 to buy me any car i wanted. on the day i got my liscence, i asked them to help me buy a brand new 1995 SUBARU WRX (about $35k in israel) and you know what they told me? NO!!!! however, i told them that i wanted to go to a rally driving school and you know what they said? there you, here is the money that you need. they did not say no to me because they couldn't buy me the car, they said no because they know that it is too much of a car for a young kid and they also wanted me to work for what i have so i can appreciate it. guess what, i bought my evo with my own money and it feels AMAZING!!!! sure, it hurts my pockets and i would love to have some extra cash every month but the feeling of driving a car you worked for and knowning that your bloood sweat and tears went to this car is a feeling that this kid will never know or understand.

for some strange reason, the fact that you think that does not suprise...

of course i am wrong, being an idiot and racing on the street risking your life and the life of others if very mature. and just because you have seen older guys street race does not mean that they are smart, it just means that you are hanging out with some dumb people.

First street racing makes you stupid , take it to the track.

If 18 year old young adults are so mature why does it cost so much for their insurance? The Evo is a great car but I am not paying $300 to $400 a month to insure it.

I would rather invest my money for the future! It shocks me that your parents wouldn't want you to learn that lesson.
