hey,this is my first thread
Im hoping soon to get an evolution 8. i now have an rx-8 with 250 bhp.i am asking many people if i should keep my rx-8 or buy an evolution.Many answers are like they are two different cars,you cant compare them.Others are like keep the rx-8 its much better looking,and much more fun to drive(rear wheel drive).to be honest i do think the rx-8 is better looking but for some reason im kind of in-love with the evolution 8 despite people telling me to keep it the rx-8

any suggestions
and also which model would you advise me to get

 

Eh? Everyone is going to tell you to get an EVO IX.

 

Do what you like, if you enjoy your slow RX-8 that much, keep it.

 

yup. get the 9 if you like modding. $ per hp is insane on that car.

 

Best suggestion: drive both and see which you like more.

Regardless of all out numbers, it really comes down to which car you're going to enjoy driving on a daily basis. Which one makes you look forward to getting out on the road.

ill tell u one thing a rx8 is not more fun to drive then a evo i drove both.no offense but you cant compares those cars it' like comparing a m3 to a 318

 

If you want a car for performance get a Evo. If you want your car for looks stay with your Rx8.

Thing is with rotary engines is they don't last long, it's a fact. So if you are planning on coming over to the dark side, do it before you have to replace the seals in the motor.

 

i think a lowered evo is one of the better looking cars out there (lowered) they just sit to high from the factory biu once u get coilovers it changes the whole look of the car the front spoiler to the big wing even looks better.good luck in the snow with that rx8 2

 

rx-8 definately aint slow 5.9 to 100 km .erm i have driven both.hard decision. i prefer the evolution 8 . i have gotten used to the power of the rx-8 im quessin i will get used of the power from the evolution

 

Personally I think the Evo's looks are much better than the RX-8's. I dont know why everyone says our cars are so bad looking. I Love the way Evos look.

Utimately, its your decision, other people's opinions shouldn't matter at all.

 

RX-8's are most definitely slow. I love that car being for track use only, but no way for daily driving with absolutely no torque whatsoever. Just drive both and you'll see...
