Bought my second Evo this year. My first one (yellow) was immaculate with no mods and no problems bought from an older gentleman in his 50's going through his crisis.

Second one however, is a different story. I bought it last weekend in San Diego and I decided to buy it because, although it had been juggled through dealers it had a clean history with no wrecks. When I got to it, it had an upgraded radiator and downpipe that the current owner "didn't know about".

When I got it home I went through all the ghosts it had. The fuel tank sender unit went out. Under the car it is fine all the pinch welds are solid but all the underplastics are gone and the plastics on the driver's side were ripped.

Has the second O2 sensor zip tied and hanging with a wire lingering inside the glove box recirculated to a harness. I suppose that is for the 02 cheater mod.

And it was missing the center caps and after I picked some up this morning from the dealer I installed them. Upon installation I noticed the rear fenders were shaved indicating that a huge wheel was used and the old centercaps were probably used as well.

I also forgot to mention the car only came with one key with no remotes so I ordered those.

The clincher is that after spending some time on this site I was lingering in the market place and recognized a name that was on the title. And after a search found some old photos of the car modded to the *****. Wheels, intercooler piping, intake, and full catback with some ECU piggybacks. Looks like he raced it too sadly.

Oh well, life goes on, car is still in good shape runds and drives like a champ and have the condition close to my liking after an order of new underplastics from the dealer and such.
