Anyone wish they got an STi?
I like the sound of the sti but thats where it ends...i would never have the thoughts of changing over to an sti...ive driven one a few times but it just isnt the same...it doesnt feel raw compared to the evo and the gearing and pedals just feel strange
i've driven both and there is no comparison imo...i'm extremely happy with the evo. evo responds to mods much better, and evo handles better imo. i do love the look and the sound of the sti, but i love everything about the evo.
I drove the STI and EVO.
I just felt more "connected" with the Evo.
Don't get me wrong, the STI is nice inside and out, but I felt at home in the
i reallize its winter and everyone is bored!, but you gotta be hosing me!!! i'm on my second one since mid 2003, first one was real basic, usual mods. second one is fully built(buschur) and all i can say is you gotta be hosing me!!!. oh i forgot what was the the other car you guys were talking about? buschur bought one of those a while back to develope parts for as well as eric from ams did, and its funny how almost as quick as they started messing with those THINGS, they were back to the real developement of more parts for a real car. hmmm but i'm bias and just bored. lastly, ever seen the cylinder walls on those other cars,
x1000, they're full of compromises
-crappy gearing pre 2007
-2008s and 2009s spin rod bearings even stock
-tiny turbo
-heat soak prone TMIC
-boxers with exhausts sound like Harleys
-tons of piping pre turbo is inefficient
-FMIC means more piping pre-engine inlet and laaaaaaaaaag
-owl catcher hood scoop sways in wind and shakes hood
I could go on and on.
