Wink Starting To Mod My Evo X

I'm going to start modding My X. So I'm going to be keeping sort of an online journal with pix and all, and also will be getting Ideas, suggestions and opinions from members

1st Upgrade Im planning on purchasing, later on today Is the cold air intake. What do you guys think is the best one? I was thinking of going with EVO X SF Intake System By Cobb Tuning. Whoever has one what are your thoughts on it? Like it , hate it, wish you bought another one? lol. Im excited to start modding this puppy ... Also may buy a MBC, boost gauge this week

Might want to start with a search on that intake. I know several people have it and have posted about it.

Good luck with your mods, and have fun!

CAI is a CAI, they all work the same. Maybe a 1hp difference between all of them. I would tell you get the one that fits your budget the most.

Second of all instead start saving for either a AP, ECUFLASH, or ECUTEK to tune your car. Probably the best bang for the buck thus far.

I would also tell you look at RRE (GOOGLE) website, they make their own products which are replicas of ETS stuff for slightly cheaper.

Then again you need to have a goal you try to reach if its just 300whp. You can do that with pretty much a intake and a really good tune.

Happy modding.

The RRE products are not replica's they are OUR products =) The best bang for the buck mod seems to be the Intake + Boost Controller (We gained over 50whp with these 2 things)

If you have any questions let me know!

Power Package 1
