same way you restore any painted surface... sand smooth... re-clear...

No the top part of the wing cannot be taken off. It is riveted together from the factory. And u can wetsand and clear the gel coat to get rid of the fading, however if pieces have already peeled off as mine did clearing will not help these spots will still be visible. What I did was jerk the whole trunk off and repface it all with cf but not before having a body shop spray it with uv protected clear coat but the cf trunk may not be for everyone

click on "Search", then "advanced Search"

type in "wing repair" or any useful combination of words you choose

Your questions and concerns have been answered on here hundreds of times over. I know there is a thread on here how to take apart an Evo8 wing because it's the same one I followed to take mine apart. You can even look through the threads I've posted in to find it.

Yes, there are some rivets on the bottoms of the side parts of the wing, but you do not have to drill them out. After you take your wing apart, you will see why. When you do take the wing apart, you are only separating it where it is glued. The Evo 8 wing comes apart in 3 pieces. I have never taken apart an Evo9 wing, so I can't really say how it comes apart.
