what is the best shift knob fro short throw?
Often the problem with an Ebay short shifter straight off the boat from China is that they are made of aluminum and the different pieces are held on by set screws or spring pins. Aluminum is not really a proper material for a part like a Evo 8 shifter because of the stress it's supporting on every shifts, and it's always better to have a two piece design welded together rather than holding with set screws.
Our Evo 8 short shifter is more expensive, yes, but it is made of solid steel and TIG welded for maximum durability. It also comes with the aluminum base bushings to firm up the whole assembly.

Slave labor sucks I guess
Honestly > $100. One is made in China and I'm sure Buchurs in made in the USA. Both will do the same thing. In fact the EBAY one is adjustable so....
All in what you feel comfortable with I guess. Some people won't buy stuff made in china. Some people feel that if something does the exact same thing or even more in this case, will last just as long, and cost 5 times less that they will go with that

This is a weighted DSM shift knob.
I got this for my short throw after a bit of research. It is very heavy, weighs many times more than the OEM one. This allows for better fast shifts, with less effort.
The leather stays warm in the cold, cold in the warm, and feels good in your hand. It also matches the shift boot.
I wouldn't have it any other way.
My setup is making about 300hp 320tq on Buschur's dyno (roughly 340whp on a dynojet for comparison). I ran out of injector during the tune, so thats next on my list, and I just bought Cosworth M2's and an exedy twin hd. You'll be very happy with the setup! Oh and also as far as the knob goes, I'm using the blox and love it. However it gets Very hot in the summer, and very cold in the winter.
