might want to go check it out today. what would be a good price for this evo, car price or out the door price. looks really clean. also what you guys think of the new 2013 genesis coupes. I've been looking into those also but the evo still seems to draw my eye haha.

run a carfax, do a compression test and check the normal things.

appearance wise it looks ok

I bought mine used from a dealer and within 3 months it ate an exhaust valve.

 

Well it looks ok from the outside, but there's no engine bay shots so it's hard to tell if it's modded. Also the dealer is dumb and listed it as an automatic

 

I like that they made the IX's 'automatic'...better bring someone who knows about Evos if they can't get this right...

80K may be a bit much mileage wise, esp when you can get a new car...

Looks like its been modded at some point with ARC filter...as far as how modded, who knows? new vs used? New normally wins, but when Evos are in the equation, makes things difficult! GL

offer 18-19k, if they accept then do the compression etc. if its sound mechanically then 18-19k wouldn't be a bad price. In the end its up to you. I would pay a little more and get something with some decent mileage.

 

Nice exterior pics but where are the pictures on the interior. What about the car its not an auto and there arent any pics of the engine bay. I think it wont end well on some scammer type deal.

 

I would definitely have it gone over by a reputable shop that knows the 4G63 platform before I made any offer it, that's for sure.
I don't trust dealerships. They are in the business of selling cars, not KNOWING cars.
