No, they are not. All evo 9's came with those seats except the SSL cars which had leather. There are far more blue and black seats because there are more 8's, but they are only rare if you consider most people dont upgrade their 9 seats so fewer are for sale.

I too am looking for Evo 9 seats! I have a project car and was at a local salvage yard in Eastern Mass and they had one (pass side) from a wrecked 2006 Evo. I must say, as soon as I put my butt in that seat, it sold me! It is in excellent condition, got it for a killer price, too! Now I need another for the girl. So, Southstar, if you find only one, or one that you are not interested in, keep me posted. And likewise to you.

there's a set of evo 9 seats on ebay for $950 shipped.

one of the seats has a pretty small tear on the side, otherwise appear to be in decent condition.
