Hey guys, I'm new to EVOs. Plenty of my friends have them, and I've learned alot being riding with them and hearing about their experiences. Now, I'm looking to buy one ASAP.

I'm approved for a 20k loan through the bank and I have 4k of down payment cash in hand.

Any criterias? Something stock, something built?

 

I would suggest buying something that "looks" stock (probably was modified and returned to stock). Try to find one that has not too many owners and look for one from a climate that doesn't see winters (less rust issues).

Also hold on to as much of that down payment as possible so if the tcase and trans/clutch take a crap shortly after you get it you can fix without distress.

Check philadelphia Craigslist. There are several there in your price range, even an IX and an X posted within the last 2 days that look really nice asking under $25,000.

 

Thanks for the help, I'm going to check out some of the links you guys showed me. I'm looking for something mainly stock or tastefully modded. I don't want a car that's been modded to all hell because chances are it was either beat and/or done wrong.

This will be a 2nd car for me so it won't have to be daily driven which is also a good thing.
