Yeah...if he's still on pump gas timing and just working with boost and fuel mixture, there is definitely a lot left in it. I would expect it to be at least 750whp at 35psi once timing is upped...if not more.

Not really other than it made 623/477 at 25.7psi as per my sig on 92 octane.

Definitely...where it is now I wouldnt be surprised to make over 650 on pump if I wanted to, but alas I am not interested in the attempt.

Now that the boost control is fixed and the psi is solid across the board, (i.e not 35 falling to 30) I would presume that if its still making 13-15whp per psi without timing changes that it should make 750whp at 35 (up from where it is now, 708@30) with boost and a little timing. There are a few random bets on my car for what it makes at what boost so I think there is going to be a 38psi pull in its future to settle that as well.

For now I am just enjoying the car and putting some miles on it. Right now its getting about 20 a week so they're not climbing too fast yet but it still has its initial 3k on it.

815whp @ 38psi with the tune completed and timing where it "should" be!

The only thing the tune needs is 2 degrees more timing, otherwise its done. That is an interesting prediction [thumbup}

I think the current bet is it will either make more than 774whp or less than 774whp. Based on where it is at versus Luke's 6262, the same turbo on Brandon's 2.4 now (albeit on gas), I am thinking it will be 775+.

Looking at the peak power and saying you only average 10whp per psi (which I think would be more...just staying conservative) would net you another 80whp alone in boost (30psi to 38psi up top). That would get you well into the 780-790 range without the timing. The extra timing (as long as you're not at MBT, which you shouldn't be nowhere near on pump gas timing) should net you quite a bit more power. I think 815 might be pretty close.

Just for reference, on my Evo with a built 2.0 and a custom 6262 setup on E85, from 35-36psi, it picked up 13whp. So it was still running very efficiently. Went from 606whp to 619whp. And the HTA3586 I consider to be just as efficient in the least.

Remember I am superstitious and when I pray to the car gods I pray to the god of horsepower for one more pass and may he bless me a fraction of his infinite whp. Then I explain the joke to most people, and make a pull. If I didnt say any numbers out loud I have never fallen short of what I want. If I say out loud what I think it will do exactly and its 4whp less. So has everyone else...ever.

Then I guess we shall see if it ends at 811whp!

I am 2* less than MBT currently, so that and upping the boost should be interesting.

Very nice power! I was comparing your chart to my chart and it's amazing at the difference in the way the torque curve is produced. Your torque curve just rounds out throughout the pull and is pretty flat. Mine isn't bad, but it does more of a peak and then continues to drop off throughout the pull. If interested, you can see it HERE. I am upgrading a few parts to see if it will make a bit more power and then it's time to hit the track. The 9 gearing is going to kill me, but otherwise should be a lot of fun.

Nice job Aaron! Congrats on the power!
