I would count it as two. That C&D writer seemed disappointed, too. He certainly wasn't elated and relieved. Let's keep track of the count. I'm sure I'll be one to add to the IX's tally.

in a straight line...iX...in the twisties with a good driver...prolly X or a tie...I don't get it...why not a 6 speed in the X just as it is with the current MR...kinda seems like Mitsu wants to make money on those that don't know how to drive a manual but want an eVo...while at the same time taking away options from the GSR and putting them in the MR for all the other eVo enthusiasts...hmm...I see a mass production of the MR in the near future...now every a$$hole will have an eVo...

Mitsu wants to attract women drivers, or at least to have them consent to the mens'
decision.

The Evo is dead. Long live the Evo!

That would be a thing good for Mitsubishi. More sales equals more money and that's what Mitsubishi wants and needs. And who cares if everybody has it? Do you actually need to have a rare car to feel good about your individuality? If you do, go see a therapist for your insecurity.

more sales equals more teens buying it which will probably equal to more accidents which equals high insurance and a bad name for the evo

but thats just my guess

I don't think so. Teens will be attracted to the RS, cheaper and more up their alley. MR is likely to be 40K after taxes and will attract an older crowd.

Mitsubishi does not care about the enthusiast minority because we are not a profitable market. They want to attract more mainstream consumers because they will produce more sales.
